Great cable for the price!
I bought this cable two months ago for my iPhone 3GS and all I can say is that it works like a charm! I use it every day for both charging and syncing and I've had absolutely no problems so far. The only caveat is that it doesn't quite fit as "snugly" as the original Apple cable and the material used doesn't seem to be of the same quality. That said, when you consider the fact that an Apple cable costs nearly 10 times as much, it would be ridiculous to expect the exact same level of quality. Bottom line: this cable works perfectly and for the price you really can't ask for more. Top to learn more

Looks cheap but works
I just received this item and used for few days. It looks cheap but worked okay as soon as I plugged in. It came with 'lock' clamps so I need to push on the side buttons to take out the plug from iphone. Original cable never had this lock buttons. I prefer to lock buttons because they may fail over the time. The reason I gave one less star is for length of the cable. This is about 2 ft 9 inches long. Little too short to place between charger and my table. The specifications never specify the length, so buyer get what ever seller sends. Otherwise works great so far. Top to learn more

Charges and syncs just like the high prices ones
This is the low priced spread of sync cables for iPod to iTunes. And that's good. Even with the outrageous shipping charges, these cost half what my local electronics merchants wanted. And these work fine with my 5G iPod Nano (the one with the video, radio, dictation, album flow screen, etc.) Recommended.

It fits the description, works like it says, but is very poorly made. The plastic feels really light and cheap. The wire insulation doesn't fully cover the wire all the way into the plastic ends. So far I've only plugged it in once and it's charging my Nano 5G as promised.

Genuine charger for 1/6 the Apple price
This charger costs an astounding $30 if you buy it from the Apple web store! Maybe Apple dips it in gold or something, but there's no reason to pay $30 for it when you can get it for about $5, is there?After I got this, I looked it over very carefully, comparing it to one a friend got from Apple. This is either the real deal, or it's the best knock-off ever made. It has the same markings and numbers as the original.Bottom line: It works, and it's much, MUCH cheaper than it is from Apple. Terrifically Useful Device That's a No-Brainer for Anyone Who Travels
I like to watch movies on my iPod Touch on long flights, so after looking into a number of dedicated iPod battery solutions that cost $75 or more, I found this nifty solution for a fraction of the cost. Since I wasn't sure how much extra juice I would need for video playback for up to ten hours, I picked up three of these when they were on sale for $15, figuring that would be enough to do the job.I ran the fully charged iPod with one of these batteries connected from the outset (as opposed to waiting for the iPod to drain and then recharge it later), and, surprisingly, made it through an entire long haul flight from L.A. to Tokyo with only one battery. In fact, there was still plenty of charge left on the iPod when I landed, so the other two batteries turned out to be unnecessary. Since these Lithium-Ion batteries are so lightweight, it didn't matter anyway -- I see no downside to a little overkill when it comes to reserve power. The only minor gripe I have is that... I've been extremely happy with this product! With the unit fully charged, it will take my iPhone 3G from about 1/4 charge to a full charge in about 45 minutes. It's an extremely simple design. It has a mini-USB connector on the bottom labeled IN which is where you plug it in to charge, and then a full-sized USB connector labeled OUT on the top where you connect your device's USB cable. The IN port has an LED indicator which is RED while the unit is charging and GREEN once it's fully charged. On the face of the unit near the "copper top" there's another indicator light that is GREEN while charging your iPhone/Blackberry/RAZR and RED once charging is complete and the unit is drained.I would highly recommend this unit for heavy iPhone users on the go. It's not the most optimal solution, but until Apple makes an iPhone with interchangeable batteries, it's the best option we've got. Top to learn more

Solid performance, with a caveat
I used to use a "MintyBoost" power supply, but the thing always seemed to have dead batteries and it is rather heavy, so I reluctantly decided to look for a replacement. This Duracell looked like the most responsive to my needs--others are beefier but they are much bigger and heavier--so I took a run at this one and have been pretty pleased. It's feather light and will charge off of just about any USB output, and it provides enough juice to charge and/or operate most USB appliances at least partially. The on-off switch is handy and not overly easy to flip on by accident. It has a charging state indicator on one end next to the "input" and a power state indicator on the top fascia next to the Duracell logo. I have gotten it to work successfully and consistently with my 3G iPod, Blackberry, and Plantronics Blue-Toof earbuds. I have gotten it to work with my 2G Kindle only once, with difficulty, and slooooowly--I don't know what the problem is here, still troubleshooting on this;... Top to learn more

Next up was making a suitable iPod Nano cable that, instead of input USB charging, worked off of FireWire since that was my buss of choice. Instead of buying a new iPod speaker contraption, make one out of those parts. Secondly, as you will see in a future project update, I abandoned the iPod Nano based system in favor of an iPhone. For instance, instead of throwing out old speakers and iPod cables, why not hobble them all together into a previously unintended function. And in all recent iPods and iPhones, FireWire charging is not an option. From right to left, we have an old set of Apple Pro speakers from an old PowerMac.
