Soladec Solar Charger
While preparing for a camping trip to Yellowstone and realizing how many gadgets and gizmos we all had, I decided to try out the Soladec as it was one of the only portable solar chargers out there with a decent high-output solar cell. Surprisingly, it works right out of the box since it has its own internal battery, which in turn is charged by solar power. Being a gadgets guy, I've had my share of solar chargers, none of which impressed me but after using the Soladec for four days in the wild, I can honestly say my faith in solar powered chargers is renewed!Build Quality - sturdy construction and the solar cell glass feels tough enough to survive a drop.LED Light - Be forewarned,BRIGHTER THAN YOU THINK! Amazing Performance for a Solar Charger, Will not disappoint!
This is my second solar charger after realizing the first charger couldn't even charge my wife's Droid Captivate or my iPhone over 50% which was a major disappointment. The Soladec is drastic difference and I couldn't have been happier with my purchase for a solar charger that actually works! I have used the charger for approximately a month, mostly for hiking. I'm a contractor and now, I'm officially the "Charger Guy" since everyone at work comes to me on if their phones needs a jump during the day while on site.The Soladec is a well constructed charger with a much higher quality photovoltaic(PV) solar cell that actually provides enough juice to charge most phones to 100%. In fact, the high-output PV panel coupled with a large 4000 mAh battery is enough to charge almost anything you can throw at it, as long it can charge by USB.Also, most solar charging flashlights out there have some of the wimpiest lights I've seen but the jumbo monster LED array on the...
