Let's face it...we are not all clones and look for different features when it comes to an MP3 player. I wanted a small, portable player for the gym. I really didn't need a new iPod as I currently own an iPhone 3G(S), two older Nanos, an older 1 GB Shuffle and two iPod Classics in 15 GB and 30 GB configurations that I recently installed new batteries in. iTunes selects the language and best voice for your song titles and artist names. Functional but not exactly the same
First of all, I bought this item a while ago, so I can't remember if it came in overly-sized packaging. But I know mine worked fine the first time, I didn't have to ship it back. When i uninstalled the old one, there was a mirrored material on the back. I was expecting to find this, but I didn't. That worried me a little because I felt like it'd be a shotty replacement...but I was wrong. It worked perfectly fine, it took a while to get the thing installed - it really didn't want to connect to the circuit board, but eventually it did and it was ok. Quality of picture didn't seem to change either.

You've gotta hold it to believe it
I've had a chance to play around with this for a few days now, and while I am a huge fan of the iPod Nano, it will not be replacing my 20GB iPod Photo anytime soon. It's Apple's own fault, really; they gave me 20GB (or 40, or 60) of space first, and now they want to take 90% of it away? Don't think so.
