Excelent skin, tricky protector
This skin is actually very well made. It fits the Nano 5 perfectly and has a small lip at the bottom to keep it properly in place. The skin itself is just about perfect. There seems to be a slight flaw in the manufacture of the protector. The back mask comes of properly, but the front mask doesn't. The adhesive holding the removal tab wasn't applied close enough to the edge to remove the mask with the tab. So, the tab just tears and the mask stays right where it is. This is what the complaints are talking about. They don't seem to realize the mask was still there. In fact, it seems to be the same problem with ALL Nano 5 protectors, not just the ones in this set. I found that with a little care, after the protector has been applied, it is possible to catch the mask at a corner with your fingernail and remove it. This requires some patience, and a magnifying glass might help.

Basic silicon case...
This is a basic silicone case. It is pretty opaque so if you are really into seeing the color of your IPOD this is probably not the cover you want. For some reason when I ordered this I thought it would come with a hard plastic screen cover like I had for my 3rd generation IPOD but that must have been my oversight. The screen cover that comes with this product is more like a clear protective film. So far so good. Shipping took about a week.

Perfect Design, Great Features, High Quality
When I ordered my 5th generation Nano, I knew I needed to find an accessory that did three things:-A case to protect the Nano from damage.-An armband to use when I run or work out in warm weather.-An integrated belt clip to use when I run or work out in cold weather, or for simply wearing the Nano around casually.I was happy to find this product, as it had all three features I was looking for, and the price was great (1/2 price on Amazon).I was even happier when it arrived, as it exceeded all my expectations. The case is clear plastic (It's completely transparent on the front side where it's important to get a clear view of the screen, and it's frosted on the back side). The case is super easy to open and to insert or remove the Nano----yet it closes very securely with a snap and gives a nice sense of protection. In other words, they struck a good balance with making a secure, tight closure, while at the same time not making it difficult...

I, too, spent quite a bit of time reading reviews... Very happy with this purchase!
As most of the reviewers of this item, I must give it 5 stars.I read quite a few reviews of this and other similar items before deciding to go with this iPod Nano armband. The key features that swayed me in the direction of this item were the easily accessible clear protective shell (with a clip!!) and a non-bulky armband. Let's just say that this armband isn't for you if you'd like to sport the Terminator look. The armband was designed with simplicity and function in mind. It doesn't slip off or feel like an inflated BP cuff (but then again, I am a female with a pretty small arm. What biceps? :p) However, if you are a weight-lifting machine, then you might want to go for something with a bit longer band (and at this point you probably look like Terminator anyway, so this slim armband won't do your guns of steel justice. No, I said "guns"; I don't know where you are planning on wearing your iPod...). Bad humor aside, the actual length of the band in its relaxed...

Great case, one big problem
This case was ideal: clear hard case, convenient belt clip, very comfortable armband. However, the big problem I am having is that the case extends a very short length beyond the end of the Nano. I use a set of Shure earbuds (which I love), and the plug cannot fit fully into the headphone jack due to the extension of the case. The standard Ipod earphones fit fine because the plug is very slim and straight.VERY frustrating. I'm left with finding a new case or buying new earphones. Case is certainly cheaper, but I've not found another with the hard case/belt clip/armband combo.

A Good Cord for the price
First of all, I ordered mine from BestDealUSA for $1.77. It arrived 2 days earlier than expected.Now, for the retractable cord, it is very thin. It comes with no instructions but has this sticker that shows you that you should pull BOTH sides of the cord and not only from one side. It ends are gold-plated (at least it looks like) and don't look like the silver ends in the picture.When I tested it, the sound was fine and nothing was wrong. There was once when I was pulling it out and it got stuck a little making me fear that it broke. Pulling the cord by itself proved otherwise and I found nothing wrong with it. You must pull it out at a certain length for it to stay there. The most you can pull out and make it stay is about two feet and 2 inches.Overall I think it is a good deal and worth 2 dollars.

Fits My Needs
I got this so I could plug my iPod shuffle into my car and avoid listening to the radio. I was a bit apprehensive after reading a few reviews but for $2 I was willing to take the risk. I absolutely love it. I can sit my iPod down in the cup holder while it's plugged in, push play, and go. I have had no problems getting it to work the way it needs to. If you need it to play your iPod in the car, then I highly recommend this device.

perfect for 5g
I was hesitant based on the price and the recent availability of the 5g, but this item is in fact the correct size/layout for nano 5g. Very inexpensive (~6 dollars shipped) and a better match for what I wanted (simple clip) then the more elaborate accessories currently available at about 4x the price.

Good product at great price
The USB cable looks and feels very similar to the apple one, but the chargers have a somewhat cheesy feel. Then again, that's totally to be expected when you buy a whole set for less than half the price of a cable or either charger alone from Apple or one of the name brand companies.I also should note that the AC adapter is 100-240v compatible, so it can work worldwide. I was wondering about that when I bought it because none of the tech info mentioned it. In fact, the casing itself was designed to be used with the EU style plugs, and that's why it protrudes from the body of the case.Also, the items I received look like the submitted picture, and not the MFG's picture, for what it's worth... Doesn't matter much because in any case the items aren't very aesthetically pleasing anyways.Bottom line, from reading the other reviews it looks like they have QC issues, but I wound up with a perfectly functional set at a great price.

Not Working Right Out Of The Box...
The car charger worked great. I could charge my iPod while listening to it. I'm currently trying to use the Travel Adaptor, but so far it's not working. I'm trying to discover the problem. It's not the cord, because the cord is working when connecting the iPod to computer. So, I can't really say anything about how the travel adapter works. But I give the car charger 5 stars. It gets the job done.edit :: i actually got it to work. it works great. you just have to wait a second for your iPod to display the charging symbol.
