Inexpensive, gets the job done, not high quality;
If you are looking for a kit to use sparingly, then this one is perfect. I wanted to crack open my Macbook Pro 17'' and clean out some of the years of dust/etc. that has accumulated under the hood. The kit was perfect and I was able to screw down components and secure everything properly. This was perfect for what I needed it for, but I know that if I needed to use the kit everyday, then it would not be a high enough quality to last/be most efficient.

Fair quality
I bought this set in order to upgrade my computer. The tools are of fair quality and got the job done. The plastic parts are a bit flimsy and there is no tool holder/bag etc. to keep them organized. But, for $10, I was not expecting fine precision everlasting tools any way. I gave them 4 stars because I was able to accomplish the task at hand.

Works like a charm!
Worked as expected; arrived on time.This fixed my 2nd generation mini back to better than brand new status. While I was in there I upgraded the hard drive to a 16GB flash as well, so now I've got as much storage as an entry level iPad!The instructions for doing this on CNet are great; highly recommended. A word of caution though: when removing the circuit board from the case be sure to push from the bottom only! Pulling from the top can separate the poorly connected daughter card which has the lock button and headphone jack. If you do this, it's not repairable.Good luck!

13 pc Set Recvd, and it worked
Overall, the set gets 5 stars because it contained (more than) the parts advertised, and it worked for the intended purpose - the #5 torq driver opened the battery compartment on a Philips Pronto 9400 remote control. Quality? The 13 pieces cost $10. At that price, the quality is *at least* as expected.Note that the set I received on 1/6/12 had 13 pieces:- 7 Torq drivers and 2 tweezers as shown.- 1 plastic prying tool, double-ended, green.- 1 flat + 1 philps head "jeweler's" screwdrivers, black plastic-like.- 1 unidentifed piece, a screwdriver-like piece I would describe as a "jeweler's size" awl.The set came in a re-sealable plastic bag, inside a small bubble-mailer, inside an Amazon box. The bag+mailer are adequate as a storage pouch.

The Ying and Yang of the Combo
This has both pros and cons.The pros, is that I received it and it had all the advertised items and also the drivers (yes I got the T3 that I really wanted) seem to be of a nice design, easy to hold and manipulate.So why a Yang?I can not ding them for this but it would have been very nice if this set came in any type of protective plastic box or holders. I received it in just a small, very tightly arranged white cardboard box. So there is no storage other than the cardboard box the set comes in. But that doesn't bother me as much as this is supposed to be a precision set (IE the T3 Torx bit is almost microscopic and fragile on the tip) but the box is SOOO tight that most all of the tips of the drivers arrived either punched through the cardboard or dented the box.I have not tried to see if the tiny tips have been damaged by the way too small box. A simple millimeter more in box length and a thing piece of foam would have at least...

I bought this to replace the battery in my ipod mini (which I am convinced was defective the moment I bought it). Wish I had bought a replacement sooner. Incorrect dimensions
The battery appears to be functioning fine. However, the dimensions listed are incorrect. They are listed as being 0.13" thick. Mine measured at 0.22" with a digital caliper. I am not using them in an ipod but instead for an LED project. Therefore, they do not fit my original design.

Worthwhile battery replacement
I bought an Apple iPod Mini in 2005 after receiving my first post-college paycheck. The iPod is still kicking, but the battery life was shot. After researching the battery replacement and watching videos on YouTube, I felt confident enough to try the replacement myself. This product came with the proper battery and the tools needed to get the job done. I also used a silicon pry tool to limit the amount of physical damage to the iPod case, but it isn't fully necessary. Definitely research iPod Mini battery replacement on YouTube ([...]) for a tutorial on doing it yourself. I did the battery replacement in late 2011, and after a couple months of use, battery life is still good. Anybody who has an old iPod with bad battery life should look at battery replacement to save big bucks compared to buying a brand new iPod which are expensive.** Disclaimer ** I currently work in PC/tech infrastructure, which helped my comfortability in taking an iPod apart and putting it back...
