Petite And Sturdy, Can't Ask For More
This case, simply put, is perfect for what I need it for and works well with my ipod 7th generation. It has no obstruction on the bottom so the dock is completely free, hence you can attach whatever peripherals you may want which is great because I often attach a bluetooth adapter to pair it to my . The case itself fits with zero space between the case/ipod so it's got a very solid feel, and the hold switch and 3.5mm jack are also fairly accessible. The leather feels pretty good, clearly not premium quality but certainly not crappy pleather so often found in "leather" items. The screen protector is built into the face of the case and doesn't obstruct or alter the image. As for the "problem" of removing the case, I really can't understand where some of the other reviewers...

better than expected
I am very pleased with this purchase of the leather case for my ipod. It protects the screen like I wanted and fits snugly around the ipod. I was concerned that it might keep coming off but I carry it around in my bag and have not had it come off, infact I have to make a concerted effort to remove it when I want to take it off.I would definitely recommend this product.

Good case overall.
This is a good case, and offers moderate protection to the iPod. It fits very well, looks and feels great, and the leather covered plastic shell offers pretty good protection. It comes with 2 backs to fit the older and newer versions of the 6G iPods. Mine came with a slight flaw that prohibits me from giving it 5 stars though. The plastic screen protector on mine has a smudge on it that can't be removed. It is probably a quality control issue, and I've thought about exchanging it. So far, I'm living with it though. All in all, this is still a very good case.

Perfect
I don't know why Amazon can't deliver for 4-6 weeks. I bought one at Best Buy last week for the same price. I love this case. It fits my 160 GB Classic perfectly. The halves stick together well, yet are easy to pry apart. It looks cool. The reflecting coating is on the inside of the front half and does diminish the screen brightness a bit, but it still is easy to see in most rooms at full brightness. The best thing is that the bottom is flush with the bottom of the iPod while still holding it firmly. This means that it will fit in most cradles without needing to remove the case. Most important for me is that it fits in my iHome IH8 clock radio.

Good case, decent price.
I wanted this case for its reflective look, and so far, it's delivered quite well. Unfortunately, it's been scratched a few times, but that's because it's been put into a bag with my keys and cell phone. I don't like however, how the bottom is left completely uncovered, but it makes sense that Griffin designed it to be used with the iPod Dock, so it can't have anything there.When you install it, be careful not to nick the "cbromed" surface, or get anything inside, or else you'll end up with an imperfect finish. With a black iPod, this case will look amazing, and with a silver iPod, it still looks decent.

pretty but annoying
This iPod case is very attractive - it's shiny and reflective, and very pretty visually. It's also very thin so it doesn't add bulk, and I really like the rubber-like texture on the back of the case, which provides a nice gripping surface.My big complaint is that the reflective material is also used on the area that covers the screen. It's a little difficult to see the screen when I'm indoors - if I'm trying to watch a movie on it I end up taking the case off. It's MUCH worse when I'm outside. Peering at the screen outdoors, all I can see is my own annoyed face looking back at me.It was quite inexpensive, though, and provides good protection, so I'm continuing to use it until I find something I like better.

All previous design errors have been fixed.
I just got my case and was planning on drilling out the imperfections that one of the other reviews stated. But when I got it, the case had already been redesigned to not cover the noise canceling mic, as well as the vibrate button. I was very happy with that, so just thought I would share in case anyone is hesitant of buying this for those reasons.

Not exactly a perfect design
First off, I love this case, but I cannot give it more than 3 stars for the following reasons.1. The hole that goes over the mute/vibrate switch is out of alignment and it covers part of the switch itself. I can still flip it with relative ease, but cosmetically it looks like it was poorly designed.2. the hole that goes over the headphone slot covers the 2nd microphone for noise canceling/video recording which could result in poor quality in comparison to an uncovered hole. I simply cut the portion out that covered the 2nd mic near the headphone slot, but it would have looked a lot neater had the case been designed with that in mind. I am attaching pictures to demonstrate what I am talking about.On the positive side, it is a little thicker of a case than I realized, so the phone is actually a little better protected than I thought it would be. The case also fits the phone very well, not too tight, not too loose. It is exactly the fit I would expect...

Allllllmost there
This case is exactly what I thought it would be and I love it. It is not too thick, but will still protect the phone against short drops and light bumps. The way the elements are adhered to the white base are really good and I don't think they'll ever come off. It may be a little funny when it looks like you're holding a GameBoy up to the side of your head, but that's exactly why I got it! I was very pleasantly surprised to see mine actually came with the correct branding elements under the screen (if you know what I'm talking about). I hope the copyright police don't come after me.The only major problem is the hole in the case for the headphone jack is only big enough for the plug itself. That little hole on the iPhone 4 and 4S that is right next to the headphone jack is the noise cancelling microphone so it's pretty important to keep it unblocked. I had to cut into the silicone case with a really sharp Xacto knife and make a "V" indentation for the mic. A not too...

Great product for a Great price!
I've looked all around for a iPod Classic 160/7G armband that I wouldn't have to constantly slip in and out of a protective cover and sport armband. I finally found this little gem, and it's been working out great for me. The silicone cover has 2 slots in the back that expose the back slightly to slip the armband through, but nothing an add'l screen protector placed on the backside of your iPod can't fix. I feel this feature is better than the usually belt clip that would attach to the armband. There is a lot less movement when running! It comes with a screen and wheel protector. A word of caution, make sure your skin oils are cleaned from the wheel before applying the protector or it may not stay on. Definitely would recommend this product to family and friends.

Not for those who really sweat when the work out or run . . .
I had to write this review based on the fact that my wife purchased this item to protect my classic 80gb iPod from sweat when I run or work out. I'm a 6'4", 250+ guy and when I really get moving I stream sweat like a faucet. I do not feel confident enough to use my click wheel with this protector with wet fingers. (Sweat has already damaged my screen from lighting up -- separate issue, happened prior to purchase of this protector).***This item offers no coverage/protection to the two most sensitive areas the screen and the click-wheel.***I wanted something that while not waterproof [which costs $50+], I wanted something that made my iPod water resistant.Please do not get me wrong: If you need something for 1. light use 2. do not sweat like a hog [me] or 3. do not have to search, skip, or replay songs, while working out this protector maybe perfect for you.
