Good Product But A Bit Steep On The Price.
I purchased two of these GelaSkins, this one for my iPod and the for my sisters iPod. We have had them for about seven months now and they havent shown any signs of peeling or anything. It definitely does its job as far as protecting the iPod from getting scratched. If you are familiar with Fatheads and Wallbangers that is essentially what this product is except its for an MP3 player as opposed to a wall decoration. My only real complaint is the price $15 each (or in my case two for $30), I know its not incredibly expensive but it did seem a bit much to me for a couple of decals. All in all though this IS a good product and if you do buy a GelaSkin you will be making a purchase on something that will last you quite a while, make your iPod stand out, and get you... GREAT skin!
I am really impressed with this skin, and not just the picture. I had visions of it sticking to all the wrong places and ending up with a mess, but it was VERY easy to put on my iPod and easy to remove when my clumsy attempts to align it ended up going terribly wrong. If a klutz like me can use this, anyone can! It has already saved my iPod from some pretty serious scratches and still looks great...I might have to coat my entire house in this stuff... Love it but no screen protector!
This protector is awesome but does not actually have a protector for the screen. The protector is easily removed so you could have quite a few different ones to change it up! I'd recommend getting a clear hard shell case though to ultimately protect your ipod and then you can still see the awesome design of the protector (best one: DLO clear hard shell case - 9.99 here on amazon - here's the link if you're interested: http://www.amazon.com/DLO-Videoshell-Case-classic-Clear/dp/B000WLXOB4/ref=pd_ecc_rvi_cart_2). Really Bright Colors
You can't tell from the picture, but this has very deep colors that make it very pretty. It protect and sticks very well. I have removed it a few times to see if it would stick the same, and it does. It's not thin and just a sticker. it's fairly thick and protective, but it still fits inside the clear case I bought for it. You have to push a little harder to make it click into place, but it still fits fine. I thought the stickers would make it harder for the wheel to feel my turning, but it doesn't. Great product! Good iPod skin
This skin is a perfect match for my ipod classic (160Gb). The materials are great quality, so I know that it will last until I change my ipod or until I want a new design. The picture looks just like they advertise it, great quality and great details.The installation is a little tricky on the screen area because the sides are too narrow and it's hard to keep it strait; but besides that it installs easily and bubble free. The good thing is that if you don't like your own installation, you can just lift it up and start over, without any sticky residue.(as advertised)The only downside on this skin is that it only covers the front and back panels of the ipod and the sides all around remain unprotected for any scratches, but I'm guessing that it would be hard to make a complete skin because of the curves.....Initially i bought this skin because the 'silver' ipod classic is just white, and I didn't like it. After I see it installed I wonder, why didn't I buy tis... Top to learn more
